As designers and builders, working with Dr. Lisa Eckenstein was both extremely satisfying and a breath of fresh air. Our collaboration for the overall success of the office design resulted in a clean, modern, industrial feel with warm accents. After designing and confirming the most functional orthodontist office floor-plan with optimal flow, we quickly got started on the overall look and feel of the space. Sharing a passion for finding old materials with style and character, the vision was clear. Finding unique materials and re-purposing them to be incorporated into the design, the atmosphere started to take shape. From live edge wood counter-tops used as the patient electronic bar, to reclaimed barn wood hugging the reception desk, patients are sure to experience a warm and inviting environment. By adding large glass panels, exposed metal beams, and a painted open ceiling concept, we were able to achieve the right amount of modern/industrial elements that the doctor desired.
